BJ Cooley is a native of Waynesboro, Mississippi. He is a graduate of Jones County Junior College and the Mississippi School of Banking at Ole Miss. He also received an American Bankers Association AIB Supervisor’s Certificate and an AIB Bank Operations Diploma. He has worked for First State Bank in Waynesboro for 17 years as Assistant Vice President of Operations.
BJ and his wife, Emily, have two daughters, Lily and Mailey. They attend West Shady Grove Baptist Church.
