Wendy Wood, AAP

Regions Bank

Wendy has 38 years in banking and 36 of those years in ACH.  Her career began with City Federal Savings and Loan which was later purchased by First Alabama Bank.  Known today as Regions Bank.  Wendy earned her AAP in 1999 and her current responsibilities are to ensure the day to day work flow of ACH Operations. 

She enjoys giving back to the community through her volunteer work with DECA, United Way and her Church.  Each year she serves as a Judge in the Competitive Events for the DECA State Career Development Conference and serves on a United Way VAT team.  “Seeing these young individuals work their magic is really inspiring and satisfying to know that one day they will be leading our business world. I also enjoy my serving with the United Way VAT team. It is humbling to see all the good that the different non-profit organizations do out there to help others.”
