Jason Nichols

Guaranty Bank & Trust Company

Jason is SVP/CIO,COO at Guaranty Bank and Trust based in Belzoni, MS.  He has been with Guaranty Bank since August of 2012, where he started as the bank’s Information Security Officer and has since promoted to his current position.  Jason oversees IT, Operations, Information Security, Data Processing and Digital Banking.  Prior to joining Guaranty Bank, he was employed in public accounting for seven years as a financial auditor.  Jason graduated in 2005 from Mississippi State University with a Master of Professional Accountancy, after obtaining a Bachelor of Accountancy in 2004.  He obtained his certifications as a Certified Public Accountant in 2006 and a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2009.

Jason lives in Glen Allan, MS with his wife Sarah, and three children, Sophie, Bennett and Charlie, ages 9, 5 and 4 months, respectively.  When he’s not working, he’s travelling and spending time with his family.
