To fully understand today’s electronic image exchange environment, financial institutions should understand the various ways in which checks can be exchanged, the similarities and differences in the rules and agreements that govern those exchanges. This session will discuss the various types of image exchange relationships, specifically Federal Reserve Operating Circular 3 (OC-3) and the private sector Electronic Check Clearing House Organization (ECCHO) Rules.
