Police searching for man after Fifth Third Bank robbed Monday morning in Garner

GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is on the run after holding up a bank in Garner, prompting two schools to go on lockdown, police tell CBS 17.
The robbery occurred around 9:45 a.m. Monday at Fifth Third on the 1100 block of U.S. Highway 70, according to a spokesperson with the Garner Police Department.
The officer said the man passed a note to tellers saying this is a robbery and left on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
